Forever Home Update February 19, 2013 Hi Jan, We made it home. Little girl needed another bath as soon as we got here. She had a little bit of diarrhea as soon as we left your place. I'm going to make a vet appointment tomorrow morning. She looks like she's relaxing so that's good. She already took a nap on Greg. :) Pictures as soon as she's feeling more at home. Connie February 20, 2013 Shania ia doing well. I have to buy her some steps so she can get on the bed by herself. She's sleeping a lot, but I think that's probably to be expected after yesterday. Poor little girl was really stressed. I made a vet appointment for tomorrow. She is so stinking sweet it's just ridiculous. Greg just adores her. He can't look at her without a smile breaking out on his face. I'll get some better pictures pretty soon, I don't want to scare her with my big camera. Connie March 10, 2013 Hi Jan, I just wanted to drop you a line letting you know that little Shania is doing just fine. I'll send you some pictures as soon as I get something on my computer fixed. I've been taking pics of her here and there but I'm afraid I'll lose them if I put them on my computer in the state it's in. She is the most precious little girl and we're so lucky that she came to live with us. Even the cats are warming up to her. I'll send you some pictures as soon as I get my computer fixed. Hope all is great with you, Connie March 17, 2013 Hi Jan, All went well at the vet this week. She still has a touch of an ear infection. They cleaned out her ears really well and I think she can hear better now. We're going to keep treating for the ear infection and keep her diet the same unless her ears get really bad again. If it is a food allergy there is a diet she can go on, but I would prefer to find out what it is that she's allergic to and work around it. Other than that, she's doing just great. She's following me all around the house and she's so quiet about it. I have to be careful about where I step. I think I'm going to put a bell on her collar so I know when she's right under foot. I just can't get over her personality. So stinking sweet! I just love her so much. Hope all is great with you, Connie April 10, 2013 All is good here. Nothing to report. Her ears are looking good. We've been practicing car rides, and she's getting used to traveling. Her vet is pretty far away and I want to make sure she doesn't have anxiety every time I take her there. We've had a few play dates with my mom's dogs in the fenced in backyard in Lansing. They really like that. Now that it's getting nicer out, we're planning on having those more often. In a nut shell everything is great. I couldn't ask for more. Connie
