have never paid an adoption fee.

    Our Goal
Many of the babies that arrive into our care are not house trained nor leash trained. Our main goal when they arrive is to let them know that they are loved and safe. We first address their veterinarian needs and then we meet their emotional needs. We spend endless hours holding them close to us, teaching them what belly rubs and kisses are all about, letting them know that each is very special to us. They are never scolded for having potty accidents in the house, this is the least of our concerns. When we know that they feel safe we then begin to gently work on house breaking and leash training issues. Many of our babies leave our care not fully house and leash trained, but they leave us packed full of love and trust and that is Our Goal!

    Pupster Sponsorships
We all know that there are different areas that we can help within rescues. Some individuals open their homes to the dogs for fostering, others aid in transports, vet visits and grooming appointments. We realize that many of our lives become very busy and there is just not enough time in the day.
A wonderful way for those of you that maintain a lifestyle that prohibits you from physically helping these sweet kids is through sponsorship.
Your name and location will be noted under the pupster you have chosen to sponsor. You will be kept updated on a monthly basis as to how your “Favorite Baby” is progressing.

    Sponsorship Auto Monthly
If you would like to sponsor one of our precious fosters, and would like to have your monthly sponsorship automatically paid via Paypal, please click on the Paypal button below. Many of our Sponsor Parents prefer this option.
If you prefer to pay on a month to month basis please click on the "Sponsor Me" button within each pupster's bio.

Sponsoring one of our pupsters is very fulfilling for you will be able to follow their progress as they heal emotionally and physically, grow to trust and find their Special Home that they so deserve.

I am a very sweet, 7 pound silver and tan, 6 year old Yorkshire Terrier girl. I was born on February 13, 2011. I am a retired breeder.
When I arrived I was quite shy, but I am getting more comfortable and my loving personality is emerging. All I have to do is look at Mom with this forlorn look in my eyes and it is instant lap time. I do well with the other pupsters. When I want something I definitely let Mom know with my little bark. I'm dreaming of a home where I would be comfortable being the one and only or have a sister/brother that is about my size. Hopefully Mom/Dad could be home with me most of the day. I will need a fenced in area to romp and play in. I prefer no small children.
To maintain my excellent health, my diet is extremely important. Mom wanted to feed us the very best diet available, so Peke A Tzu Rescue became a distributor for Oma's Pride Raw Food products. I am enjoying a yummy turkey & veggie mix raw diet now. Mom alternates between turkey, beef and chicken raw diets. Please read about my special diet. Mom adds the following supplements: digestive enzymes, probiotics, kelp, DMG and salmon oil for a healthy balanced meal. I hope that my forever Mom/Dad will love me enough to keep me on a raw diet.
I am working on house training and do well during grooming.
I am spayed, current on vaccinations, tested heart worm negative, on a monthly heartworm prevention and natural flea protection. Total vet costs can be seen at Foster Vetting Costs. My adoption fee is $300.

I am an energetic, sweet 1 yr old brindle and white Shih Tzu girl. I weigh 9 lbs and was born on July 18, 2016. I am a retired breeder.
Aren't I just too adorable? Anyway that is what everyone says when they meet me. I am full of energy and love, love, love to play!! I get along great with all of the other pupsters and would really like a new brother or sister to romp and play with me. I hope you have lots of toys for I so enjoy tossing them in the air. I love to be cuddled and I hope you will share your bed with me. I will need a fenced in yard to romp and play in and I prefer no small children.

I am a very cute 13 lb, 1 yr old tri colored Shih Tzu boy. I was born on August 30, 2016. I had been with my family with three children and one on the way since I was a puppy. I was having potty issues. They worked with me on this, but I just could not get past it and my Mom and Dad felt it would be better for me to join the PATR crew. I am now doing great with the house breaking and as long as I am taken out on the same schedule I do my duties.

I am a sweet loving little boy and am busy, busy, busy. I require lots of exercise and attention. I do well with the other pupsters and enjoy romping and playing with all. Give me a toy and I am in heaven and please be ready to share your couch and bed with me. It would be nice to have a pupster to play with, but I would also be contented being the one and only. A fenced in yard is a must and no small children please.

I am an adorable 7 yr old gray and white Shih Tzu girl. I weigh 11 lbs and was born on October 20, 2010. I have retired from the breeding world.
I am unsure of myself when meeting new people. Once I get to know you I am such a love bug! I get along great with the other pupsters and enjoy romping and playing with them. I love the toys here and soft beds are so great to climb in and take my naps. I am looking forward to my Forever Home. I will need a fenced in yard and prefer no children.

Things are wonderful here and I am enjoying life to the fullest. There is always something exciting happening and I make sure I am right in the middle of it. I try to help Mom whenever she is taking pictures, working on the computer and jump right in for my lovins'. I get along great with the other pupsters and enjoy our playtimes. I just know there is a wonderful home out there for me where I will be loved forever. I do have dry eye and am on eye drops twice a day. It would be nice to have a Mom/Dad that could be home with me most of the time, another pupster to play with and a fenced in yard. I prefer no children.
